Mini Series: Deacons Part 2
Nick Rogers
1 Timothy 3:8-13
As we prepare to launch our new deacon process this Fall we are spending two weeks preaching through the biblical office of Deacon. Last week, by using our sermons from 1 Timothy 3, we answered the following questions: What is a deacon? What are the qualifications for a deacon? This week, we will look at the responsibilities of a deacon, and specifically how our Diaconate, or our team of deacons, will be structured here at Charis.
The future health of Charis and its pastoral leadership is dependent upon a thriving Diaconate, which means that our hope as elders is that we as a church would discover the wonderful “irreplaceable gift” of deacons.

We cannot change hearts with our own power; only through God’s power can this be done. So put your trust and faith in Him.
