As we begin a new sermon series, titled “Upside Down Kingdom” we enter into Matthew 5 or the Beatitudes. Today we set the context and the contents of the Beatitudes and begin to uncover what Jesus is Saying in Matthew 5:3, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
