Adopt-A-Student
Connecting college students to God and community at Charis.
The "Adopt-a-Student" ministry exists to connect Charis members with college students in order to help college students build relationships with church members and strengthen their relationship with God.
The expectation for the Charis members who participate is to express the love of Christ to their "adopted" student through friendship, encouragement, and hospitality. Charis members can invite their college student to a meal once or twice a month, text encouraging notes, participate in family outings and social activities, be a part of church activities, invite them to study the Bible, give small gifts of encouragement, etc...
